Finished: 3 Imperial Knights

Well these guys took a while to do! Did these for Jack (and I don’t look forward to facing them on the table!) and he seems pretty happy with them!

This was a painting commission – if you’re interested in having me paint anything for you, drop me an email! tinyplasticfrank at gmail dot com is my email, I’m in the UK but can post models wherever they’re needed.

This is the ‘leader’ of the Imperial Knights detachment – he’s got the chevron shoulder plate and knee plate, more battle honours on his banner and more oaths on his shield.

All the stripes on the shoulder plates were painted on using masking tape.

Heat staining on the melta weapons and exhaust stacks were done using Badger Ghost Tint paints.

Citadel Typhus Corrosion was used on some areas to simulate heavy rusting.

Monochrome pre-shading was done with an airbrush before laying the base coats on.

Custom washes were used to enhance the age of the Knights.

Each base has armor arc facings to aid with shooting and targeting.

Every Knight has a removeable torso for easier packing away and transport (also, turret twists!)

The big guns are all magnetized…

…for easy swapping!
